Responsive web means that the website understands what screen size is in use by the surfer and fits the layout accordingly.
The size of the screen influences the reader’s reading pattern and ensuring that texts function in a responsive manner means even more strictly following the recommendations applicable to traditional web writing.
Common for responsive websites:
- Drop down menus for small screens.
- Components in the menu on the right hand side for large screens appear at the bottom on small screens.
- There are large click areas making it easier to click links, clickable objects and menus.
Launch date
Responsive website will be launched Wednesday 25 November. At the same time we will also launch an improved search.
